What is Citizen Science? 

Students will discuss Citizen Science and how the San Dieguito River Valley  Conservancy and San Dieguito River Park JPA are implementing the San  Dieguito Citizen Science Monitoring Program throughout the watershed. They  will learn how data is being collected and used, and how they can help protect  the plants and animals within the River Park. The Cornell Lab Bird Academy developed the Investigating Evidence Curriculum  that includes pre- during- and post- field visit activities.
