Habitat Restoration Volunteer Event at Gonzales Canyon
January 18, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Help SDRVC and our partners at San Diego Canyonlands create healthy habitats within the Gonzales Canyon Open Space Preserve in Del Mar Heights. Our new plantings are doing terrific, but they need a little extra TLC to really thrive! Volunteers are needed to water, pull weeds and mulch our planting area so that our plants will reach their potential.swG

Come on out and help the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy and Allied Climbers of San Diego as we remove graffiti from the Clevenger Canyon North Trail. Tools, water, and snacks will be provided.

Do you love butterflies, bumblebees, and hummingbirds? Then come help SDRVC plant a brand new native pollinator garden at River Path Del Mar as part of Family Volunteer Day. Volunteers are needed to help plant 150 native pollinator-friendly plants such as sages, monkey flowers, and bee plants! Volunteers will also help water and tend the plantings to give them a good head start.

As a huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers, the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy wants to celebrate you at Plan 9 Alehouse located in Escondido.
The Conservancy will be covering a few appetizers, and there is a wonderful selection of craft brews and full meals.
Never volunteered with the Conservancy before? This is the time to meet us! Education Manager, Ana Lutz, will be in attendence to answer any questions you may have about getting involved in our community.
Please RSVP no later than July 10th for reservation purposes, space is limited!
Questions? Please email Ana Lutz, ana@sdrvc.org. We’ll see you there!
