FURRY FRIENDS HIKES

Our family-friendly Furry Friends Hikes are designed for adventurous dogs and their owners. Give your dog a chance to explore our trails and make some new four-legged friends. We ask participants to bring a donation (dog/cat food or treats) for the Helen Woodward Animal Center. Our Spots for furry friendly hiking and biking in San Dieguito are typically rated easy to moderate.

FULL MOON HIKES

These guided, family-friendly areas for hiking in San Dieguito give participants the chance to explore the River Park by the light of the full moon. Full Moon Hikes are typically rated easy.

TRAILS & ALES hike series

Our non-profit conservancy for River Valley partners with four other environmental non-profits to lead the popular Trails & Ales hike series each year, bringing together two of the best things about San Diego County: beautiful hiking trails and delicious craft beer. Participants go on a total of five hikes, followed by a visit to a local brewery/taproom. Stay tuned for the next series.

Our Trails & Ales partners are San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy, The Escondido Creek Conservancy, Volcan Mountain Foundation, and San Diego Canyonlands.
