San Dieguito Watershed Council

In 2006, the San Dieguito Watershed Management Plan was finalized, creating a script for the long-term preservation of the natural and recreational resources in the County’s fourth-largest watershed.  A year later the San Dieguito Watershed Council was formed to implement the Watershed Management Plan through a coalition of stakeholders. The Conservancy and San Dieguito River Park co-chair the Watershed Council.
